Calgary children photographer – studio session

First of all…way to go CANADA!!!!!!

This was such a fab session!  I had so much fun hanging with this seven year old, choosing outfits and dancing in the studio :)  I have put together a few pictures that would represent a mini session…now that mini sessions are going to take place in the near future ;)

Again, I am so fortunate to work with such cute kids….really, there must be a cute gene in the H2O here in Calgary and I am one of the lucky photogs to work with these super kids :)  We really just hung out, put together outfits that worked with this little girl’s personality and then captured some memorable moments that both mom and dad will enjoy.  Capturing your child “now” is what Simply Connected is about. I truly loved this children’s session as it was so relaxed and fun, enjoy :)

Calgary Family Photographer – Canvas {art for your home}

family on beachJust finally getting to the 20 x 40 canvas of our holiday to Mexico.  I love the look and feel of canvas, it has so much texture yet the modern lines are very simplistic.   I have so many frames on my walls that this large canvas will be refreshing ;)   If you thought that a family photographer just takes your pictures…think again.  I really believe that your family’s images should be “art for your home”.  After investing the time to capture such beautiful memories why not display them for everyone to enjoy :)   Moving on now to yet another project….

Calgary photographer – getting away

I am away in Comox right now with my best friend and enjoying every minute of it!  It isn’t a secret that I LOVE the ISLAND, I love the ocean and trees and both bring me much joy ;)  The locals are great here as everyone is always smiling giving you a wave or honk…depending where you are.  It always gives me a chuckle seeing things that I wouldn’t normally see living in suburbia…this morning was a 75 year old man skateboarding downtown!  We tried to get a picture but he was too fast.  Took a ferry to Denman’s Island and hiked amongst many old growth trees, afterward strolling back along the shore looking at many shells and sand dollars.  Coming home on Wednesday…I’ll bring the sunshine and warm weather home :)
