This location session was a total blast! From the moment I met up with this group….we did nothing but laugh! Seriously…fun! Our time together was spent taking a stroll in the park and getting the more “formal” group shots…but a majority of the time was relaxed and showing how close this family is and the interactions between everyone. For this sneak peek I decided to show some candid shots that displays the love between everyone. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of 10 to work with! Honestly, they were so full of life that I left this session smiling and have been giggling out loud while editing

What a beautiful family When mom called to book a location session, I was really excited to get the chance to photograph this family before they left for their son’s high school graduation. Such a memorable moment and huge transition in life! Hope you all had fun!

I had the absolute pleasure working with this fine lady and her two beautiful daughters! After my first conversation on the phone with Denise I KNEW that we would hit it off completely!! We both have similar quirks 
and humour! I instantly fell in love with her girls…they were sooooo sweet and reminded me of my own.
Denise had me come to her home and take pictures in her studio…of her and the girls being creative! Next we ended up in the bedrooms (Check out the paintings on the walls!) and then for some down time watching a show and eating popcorn.
I thank this family for welcoming me into their home for a this fun filled photography session! I had a wonderful time and have totally rocked out to Michael Buble while editing
Calgary baby photographer – Alberta roots
May 5, 2010This family is moving and wanted their son to remember his Alberta roots. What a perfect country location to capture this adorable little guy. I remember his first few weeks from his newborn session….and now how he has grown into an adorable blue eyed boy. We were so blessed to have the sun come and melt “most” of the snow from the snowstorm last week. The wagon was brought along to help keep him off the cold wet ground, but it quickly became his focus and fun! Mom & Dad….enjoy these images!

Yes I know, there were a lot of pictures shown. The thing is that this family was so super cute that there are so many! We had an absolute blast during this session in the country…some really cool locations just steps apart…e-mail me if you are interested:) As for the boys…they could have moved right in, they both were so comfortable at this location each images oozes fun I love this time of year when the leaves are starting to come out and all the new plants are finally starting to show. This is the perfect time to book your family, child or teen session at this very cool location.
The mini sessions booked for this past Saturday were cancelled due to the weather, but they have been rescheduled for next Saturday, May 1 for the same time slots. Please look at the mini session blog posting or contact me for more details.

Both boys are absolutely adorable, but really….why wouldn’t they since mom and dad are such a great looking couple This family location photography session took place on a farm just on the outskirts of town. From old trucks, hay bales, barns, chicken houses and such….it’s a total boys dream! Just a very sneak of a peek for this family….more to come.

Spring is officially here, why not kick it off with a very affordable mini session offered at a beautiful country location. Just $49 gets you a 20 minute session for up to 3 kids, 5 images in gallery, a 3 x 3 accordion album, and a set of wallet size photos (which alone are valued at $30). To add to this already fantastic promotion, we are offering a further reduction of $10 to anyone who books their mini session appointment by April 4th. That’s just $39 for the session and cherished mementos! You will also have the option to purchase from our mini collection. When you buy $150 in products you can purchase your images on disk for only $100. The sessions will be held on Saturday, April 24th from 4:00 PM til 8:00 PM. Calgary family photographer – Black & White series – SHADOWS
March 12, 2010This morning I took my son out for a walk that turned out to be an adventure…..
It was supposed to happen earlier in the morning, but it never….so we had to work with the sun high in the sky.
As we walked Mason would stop along the way to crush any ice with his Diego scooter. At this time of year there is A LOT of ice….let’s just say it took a while to get anywhere.
Of course, Mason was sooooo excited to ride his scooter again. Along the way he stopped to show me all the “cool” things his scooter has….like a wheel, a bag to hold rocks….
After I got the grand tour, we just stood back to admire the scooter in the beautiful sunshine
Finally we moved on, this time it was down a slope HUGE hill Last year he wasn’t too sure of the hills but after this morning…I think he’ll have no problem with them
I knew that sooner than later we’d have to try a new move. Phew, all this work…when the fun ends the best way to get home is simply to walk.
While walking, Mason noticed he had lost his shawdow. Where did it go? Why is it not following him anymore? Did the black take it back?
We walked some more till we came out from the “blackness” of the large house blocking the sun…and his dear shadow was back. **Grin**
Wow! Ice melting!
We had to help the water move….direct it with our fingers!
An hour later we made it home. I am so lucky to have my little sunshine

Calgary children’s photographer – Kids portraits
March 9, 2010Oh my…all of my kids are sick and I am starting to feel as bad as they do 
As soon as one of my babies start to feel better the other child comes down with something! UGGGG, I swear every year I have a permanent seat at my doctor’s office.
The other day on our adventure I posted the girls together. Here are a few of each girl by themselves. I really liked this location for the diversity and tons of colour….even at this time of year! For those that are starting to think of spring sessions….give me a call as I only take a certain number of studio and location sessions per month.
